This 2days takes you to Nyungwe national park for Canopy walkway and chimpanzee trekking.
Nyungwe National Park Rwanda is a massive mountain Forest in the southwest of Rwanda.
Nyungwe forest has 13 species of primate including chimpanzee and large groups of Rwenzori colobus. Nyungwe forest also boasts a rich bird life of about 300 bird species; you will also find orchids and butterflies among other attractions. Nyungwe’s biodiversity is astonishing by African standards and is one of the most endemic species-rich areas in Africa.

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Nyungwe National park for the Canopy walkway
This morning, pick up from Kigali, transfer to the southern province in Nyungwe forest, later you will reach to Uwinka Overlook, for meeting park guide and briefing about Igishigishigi trails heading to Canopy walkway, It will be a great experience with a scenic view of Nyungwe natural forest. From there you will back for lunch you will drive to Gisakura for overnight and dinner at the chosen accommodation.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and drive back to Kigali
Breakfast and drive to the park headquarters to be briefed about the “dos and don’ts” while with the chimps before entering the forest. You will encounter the chimps and many other primates like the black and white monkeys and various bird species then after lunch you will drive back to Kigali for drop off.
